Assalamualaikum

Here are four ayat that have changed the lives of people like you

They’re from the Holy Qur’an. And they make lives better.

Because they can open a pathway to Allah’s help when:

  • stress weighs us down
  • evil jinn attack us
  • life is normal
  • someone is sick
  • shame grips us

These ayat are about someone the Holy Qur’an mentions more than 180 times. This person is given remarkable and unique titles and names. We know him best, perhaps, as Hazrat Isa ( ع ).

Here are the four ayat

Ayah 1 | His mother was a virgin

3:45  The Angels said, “O Mary, Allah gives you good news of a Word from Him. His name is the Messiah, Isa, son of Mary, well-esteemed in this world and the next, and one of the nearest.3:47  She said, “My Lord, how can I have a child, when no man has touched me?” He said, “It will be so. Allah creates whatever He wills. To have anything done, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.”

The Meaning of the Holy Qur’an

No-one is all human history has been born in this way; by a virgin mother. This is truly remarkable. The Holy Qur’an rightly calls Hazrat Isa ( ع ) ‘the son of Mary’ and not ‘the son of his supposed-father, Yousaf.’

Ayah 2 | He never sinned

19:19  He said, “I am only the messenger of your Lord, to give you the gift of a pure son.”

The Meaning of the Holy Quran

Both the Holy Qur’an and the Blessed Injeel agree on this. Hazrat Isa ( ع ) was the only person who ever lived who was totally without sin. Even the greatest prophets sinned. But Hazrat Isa ( ع ) was completely pure.

Ayah 3 | God lifted him to heaven

4:158  Rather, Allah raised him up to Himself. Allah is Mighty and Wise.

The Meaning of the Holy Qur’an

Both the Holy Qur’an and Blessed Injeel agree Hazrat Isa ( ع ) was taken to heaven alive. The Jews did not kill him. Today he is there in heaven, alive and close to Allah Himself.

Ayah 4 | He will return to earth at the end of time

43:61  He is a portent of the Hour, so have no doubt about it, and follow Me. This is a straight way.

The Meaning of the Holy Qur’an

Ibn Abbas, Hasan and Qatawa and other companions in The Prophet’s ( ص ) lifetime said he taught that this ayah refers to the return of Hazrat Isa ( ع ). In other words, he is highly esteemed as the Holy Qur’an says in Ali Imran (3:45).

Can we leverage this?

No other prophet or messenger in the Holy Qur’an is like Hazrat Isa ( ع ). His titles and positions, and the stories about him, are remarkable and many are unique.

Do you think he could help people like us? Do you think Hazrat Isa ( ع ) would help us?

Alhamdulillah there are stories and ayat that suggest he can help us. And that he will!

For example, here are links to stories that show how he helped people under stress, when jinn attacked, on normal days, in sickness and when covered in shame.
